Stratstone Supporting Sparks

Stratstone are really pleased to be supporting Sparks, the Children’s Medical Research Charity.

We are currently raising £160,000 for Leukaemia research based at Birmingham University. This is a massive opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of Children everywhere, whilst having a lot of fun in the process.

Stratstone will be supporting Sparks in their fundraising through various initiatives which we will be running both in our dealerships and at our Stratstone Club events.

The Sparks charity funds research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine. The Sparks goal is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy. Every day 70 babies are born in the UK with a life-threatening condition or an illness that will affect them and their families for life. Sparks aims to reduce this statistic so all children have the chance of a healthy future.

Sparks became an independent charity in 1991, having been founded by sporting personalities who were grateful for their own health. Since 1991, and with the help of Stratstone, Sparks has raised £15.2 million which has had a significant impact in touching thousands of tiny lives across the world.

Sparks President for 2010 is Sir Geoff Hurst, “As President of Sparks I am delighted by Stratstone’s continuing support. A dynamic company like Stratstone makes the perfect team mate in working towards Sparks’s goal of helping all babies to be born healthy and grow up healthy. Together we can make a real difference and have a lot of fun in pursuit of a great cause”.
