Stratstone raise money for Cancer Charity
Stratstone customers raise over £13,000 for Hope for
Tomorrow.
Stratstone and Hope For tomorrow would
like to say a big Thank You to all the Le Mans guests who helped
raise over £13,000 for our chosen charity Hope For
Tomorrow.
The majority of money raised over the weekend
came from the charity auction which was held on Saturday night.
Guests had the chance to bid for a number of exclusive prizes
including a Lotus tour with Formula one presenter Jake Humpries, a
race day with Derek Bell MBE and a weekend at the Chateau
Goirie.
Guests also purchased Charity raffle tickets
throughout the weekend which contributed hugely to the grand total
that was raised. Winners walked off with prizes inclduing a singed
Stirling Moss print, a years Magazine Subscription donated by
Haymarket and a Top Gear experience prize which included
memorabilia and two tickets to see the filming of the famous
show.
The money raised will go towards building a
new mobile chemotherapy unit to help patients their families and
dependents cope with the reality of the situation. The charity has
recently launched two new vehicles: a Mobile Chemotherapy
Assessment Unit and a Mobile Chemotherapy Support Vehicle.
Once again we would like to thank you for your
generosity your money will make a huge difference to peoples
lives.
